The Net has spawn many types of social networking sites, and one the many that i will introduce 
Its basically "a place where people meet, interact, share common interests, and have a good time." Here people either talk about themselves, work, the environment, and most important selling stuff.
"LJ Addicts" as they are commonly known, will post stuff they are selling, talk about other ppls stuff and maybe even advertise "flea" sales they are having.
Or even take collages/Photos of what they are selling

Other Examples are;

This savings is passed on to those to buy.
